"The Last Word" contains previously unreleased material: outtakes from the Blues and haikus sessions , Readings from "On The Road" And "Visions Of Cody" from the Steve Allen Plymouth Show, as well as "Is there a Beat Generation?" a recording taken from a symposium sponsored by Brandeis University which was held at the Hunter College Playhouse.
