This is the most well-known single from The Last Mr. Bigg for good reason - these two songs are perfect for the club! Back when I was spinning regularly at different hip-hop nightclubs, you were guaranteed to make the floor go nuts if you dropped either of these songs at the right time. Beyond club appeal, the song "Trial Time" tells a detailed story of a drug-dealing thug indicted for trafficking and on the run from the law in-between court dates. The delivery is very raw, gritty, and vivid - you can imagine the story unfolding as you listen! The clean version of this song actually features different lyrics, and is much more pleasant to listen to then your average radio edit, which usually just mutes or reverses explicit words (the radio version of "Ho's", however, has explicit words edited out with various sound effects). The label on this release also contains a misprint - there is no instrumental. There are two tracks on each side (clean and explicit versions of each song). Another interesting aspect about the label is [what is traditionally referred to as] side B being labeled "Side AA".
