An excellent compilation of rare funk, and probably the only way we mere mortals will ever touch a vinyl copy of these songs. Of particular note is "Dap Walk" and "Trespasser', two must-haves for any fan of rare funk. The booklet that comes with the set is a great touch. It adds depth and a story to these recordings that is often missed. Otherwise, it's just another record with a cool song and the listener not knowing anything about the artist. The set comes in a high quality durable box with a magnetic-seal cover. Many sellers will break up the set and sell the records individually; I've seen some copies of the "Dap Walk" record going for 50-60 bucks by itself. Seek out a copy of this set before they all meet such a fate.
