A lovely, smooth EP from our Russian deep house favourite that is Mr Mython. Following on from success with ‘Lovin’ You Is A Pleasure’ on Quartet Series, this slick 4 tracker boasts a mix of mellow loungy tones and straight up dancefloor stompers. The title track starts off with a raw, dusty feel before breaking out tantalising vocals and hard-hitting kicks. ‘Rejoice’ is reminiscent of the work of Junktion, with tongue-in-cheek 4/4 breaks while ‘Morning In A Boeing 747’ will genuinely take you above the clouds with soothing piano keys. Soul Of Hex weighs in for the final track ‘Surf Mode’ which is a crisp deep house number with gliding synths and cool vocals. Perfect for: The first and last tracks on this EP are solid dance floor kickers and Soul of Hex’s influence is very prominent. ‘Morning In A Boeing 747’ would be just as at home in a garden on a summer’s day as it would be on a sunset festival stage.
