Junk metal mayhem! If you are a fan of Macro's scrap metal material, you are in the right place. This is 90 minutes of trashed out noise! This isn't really rhythmic or "tribal" as the Metal tape or the side project Mother Savage, but just classic junk noise. The material as you would expect is generally the Macro guys smashing metal into oblivion in many different forms. Sometimes just raw and straight recordings, other times with layers of harsh noise underneath, but sometimes the supporting layers are composed of psychedelic or subtle drones similar to the material found on Cut Ups, Drones & Other Weird 1993-2007, which was also recorded and edited in 1993.This makes for a great and somewhat varied tape, and this is one of my favorites that Rodger issued in the later half of the 2000s. Also, one strange thing to note, you will notice at the end of each track, there is a few seconds of an industrial beat that segues you into the next piece. I'm 99% sure this is actually a segment originally recorded by The Grey Wolves and first featured on Cut Ups, Drones & Other Weird 1993-2007, just diced up and sprinkled in using shortened clips between tracks.Metal Noise consists of Macro smashing, scraping, and bashing junk metal every which way for 90 minutes like only they know how.
