Dan Turrél was the Number One poet of the Beat Generation in Denmark and still now a source of inspiration in terms of how to mangle and twist Danish language. As he had an idea as to a spoken-word album to music, just the mere notion of that had Mega snap him up instantly! Then we had meetings... long meetings. One minute to deal with the practicalities of the recording sessions and hours talking about anything at all under the sun. Mega staffers just sat there spellbound listening to him talking endlessly, as if in a state of trance. Halfdan E. did a brilliant job, capturing it all in a very basic home studio and getting a Danish Grammy award for "album of the year".
