They didn't and don't "press wax in a diy" method. Just like everyone else they order their records from aplant that has vinyl presses.

My brand new sealed copy of this record came with finger prints on the A side label and scrapes around the centre hole from being dragged across the spindle of a turntable.

That sucks, because this EP is some of their best.

Some of their pressings come like that sometimes. It just is what it is. I asked Thes about it once when highlighter dropped because my whole record was staticky. It has to do with the material of the vinyl. Those pellets they put into it. Sometimes it caused audio issues. Especially because they do a DIY method of pressing wax.
