This is a very unique Dutch 60's release. This album consists of 6 songs from the My Generation UK album, and 6 songs from the early WHO-singles which cannot be found on the My Generation release. Apart from the Dutch release of the 'regular' My Generation album (with the UK cover), there were 3 other Dutch releases:The Kids Are Alright (1965, same tracklist as My Generation UK)Instant Party (1967, 6 songs from My Generation UK and 6 songs from early singles)Big Hits Like Who (1968, same tracklist as My Generation UK)Those 3 albums are true collector items, and a must-have for any Who-collector. I like this album, Instant Party, the best because of the alternate tracklist. Of the 3, The Kids Are Alright is the cheapest to buy, and is offered for sale at a regular basis. Big Hits Like Who is the most expensive one, but can be found in various Dutch record stores. Throughout the years, I've seen Instant Party only once in Dutch record stores, compared to tens of copies of The Kids Are Alright and around 5 copies of Big Hits Like Who.

THIS IS a VERY NICE DUTCH COMPILATION LP THAT WAS RELEASED ON THE REALLY NICE BLUE BRUNSWICH LABEL IN HOLLAND IN 1967, THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IN THE TRACK LISTING TO THE MY GENERATION LP IS THIS LP HAS THE 1965 TRACKS DADDY ROLLING STONE AND BALD HEADED WOMAN ON IT, THE SLEEVE IS A VERY NICE TYPICAL 1966 MOD SHOT AND I BELIVE THE CAR THE BAND IS STANDING IN FRONT OF WAS ROGERS FIRST CAR FROM HIS FIRST BIG ROYALTY CHECK HE RECEIVED IN EARLY 1966 ( AT LEAST THAT WAS WHAT I READ SOMEPLACE YEARS AGO) ANYWAY THIS LP IS A BIT HARD TO FIND IN VERY NICE TO NEAR MINT CONDITION AS IT IS A 47 YEAR OLD RECORD NOW BUT IT HAS A NICE NICE SLEEVE AS YOU CAN SEE AND IT HAS A WONDERFUL FLIP BACK SLEEVE, IF YOU ARE A WHO COLLECTER THEN TRY TO HUNT THIS ONE DOWN AS IT IS ONE OF THE NICEST LP SLEEVES OUT OF EUROPE FROM THIS ERA................
