This is the 3rd 12" release of 'Hot Butterfly' from 1981. In 1978 the 8:22 Jim Burgess "Disco Version" remix was released as a promo 12" on Polydor PRO 088 and as a commercial 12" on Polydor PD D 509.

This version from 1981 has the same track time as the Lp, but the mix down is different adding more emphasis on Luther's vocal and female backing vocals with extra reverberation.
