"To Speak" is a re-recording of 4 songs from my very first EP (but with violin, bass and synth added) and committed to digital file so that I could take something new on my August 2014 tour that I didn't hate to sell (it didn't work). The EP is called "To Speak" as I realised only when re-recording these songs (oh hindsight!) that in fact they were all early attempts at speaking up and finding my voice - these songs are about self-discovery, sexuality and bravery.
This was recorded over 2 days in my basement on a little 6 track (go easy on me!).
