Unfortunately, albums like this are what Hawkwind have become synonymous with to collectors, that is; bootleg quality live records disguised as live albums proper.My major complaint with Minneapolis 1989 is how muffled it sounds. It's not terrible - all instruments and voices are audible, but a lack of quality control seems evident. For instance, I was easily able to improve the sound in five minutes using Audacity.The track-listings also make no sense and unless the listener is overly familiar with the material it's all very confusing.One for fanatics only.
