Great single from Gil & Brian. No nonsense lyrics about the 3 Mile Island nuke meltdown with head swinging horns, a jubilant female chorus and Gil's baritone charing your ears like smoked cherry oak. This version is actually a different recording than which appeared on the LP. (This single version has a slower tempo.) This was later issued on the hits CD "Glory".The b-side "Baltimore" is a nostalgic and melancholy synthesizer tune about Christmas. This was one of the few non-album tracks they ever released on a single and the only original song (meaning not a different mix, recording or live version). However, this same recording was released as "Spirits Past" on Gil's 1994 CD "Spirits".
