"now serve em up" is sampled from the pharcyde - little d ;)

"Doin' my thing- I make music". Sounds obvious. It should be but it isn't. Has R. H tried feeding 5,000 with a loaf of bread/walking on water? He should have a go, and while he's at it, send a plague of locusts to every twerp bleeting 'repress'... It's all about track B1 (which is track A1 in the Youtube videos to the right, they got it mixed up); while the other tracks deal with straight repetition of vocal samples over drums, here we have some clever tinkering of vowels & pitch, chopping together different parts of the vocal samples to make nonsense that keeps shifting & almost saying 'Your Mine'. Very clever sneaky track making the others unjustly look a bit dumb, but strong enough to make this a must have record.

I've had this record since 1997, it's the only record I've ever felt the urge to black out the stickers on. This is simply the most amazing tool a mixing house dj could ever hope to have. it's epic for doubles and simply makes me happy every time I mix it... oh yeah the crowd blows up also.Robert Hood's best work for sure, this record is brilliant!

I have only come across this record recently ,there is nothing major that sticks out about this track. All four tracks are very solid production wise, but as usual its the rawness of Hood's production that has got me hooked on this tune. Simple slap you in the face drum sequence, but the little cut up rap samples added with that funked out low bassline riding along underneath it all makes this a seriously raw dancefloor groover. The production gives it a kind of Hip Hop feel with a Techno egde, refreshingly funky.
