Yeah my copy sounds quiet with no issues. I give all my out-of-rotation records a good clean before I play them which probably doesn't hurt. Either way, have had this one for years and love it to death. Got mine signed by Phil too :) and he added a little "top of the morning!" which I can appreciate.

I ended up selling this because every time I listened to it I would wince at how awful it sounded. Eventually I realized I'll never listen to this record again and got rid of it.Please re-press this one and actually focus on the sound quality.

Agreed with previous comments. Great album, terrible surface noise. So bad that I wondered briefly if my stylus was damaged, until I tested a different record.

As much as I love EVERYTHING Phil does...The surface noise on the clear is awful... I wish this was available in black. Such a wonderful album that is ruined by the noise...Phil if you read this...release on BLACK...or bring back the white style of the early ELVs
