Pure British acid from only genuine summer of love 2 year of 88, underrated and a must have for collectors.Acid Heaven is best track, very hypnotic. Sounding very much like Garden Of Eden acid track too!

Acid Heaven is the killer cut on this 12. And, until today, didn't know they were Addis. I can feel the link now. Trance inducing never ending 303.

Just scooped this up in a UK second hand record shop for one pound!!One hours digging resulting in a few tunes like this piece of acidic black crack made it all worthwhile.

Great review and from someone who was obviously there in 1988. Makes a change from all these comments on Youtube and here from people saying "blah blah Shoom" or even worse "blah blah Hacienda" then you see they would have been 14 at the time (all they were doing was taping the dance tracks of the Top 40 I should imagine - and obviously got on the scene in the hardcore days of the early 90s and want to pretend they were there for acidhouse) when as anyone who was there in 1988 knows most of us were 18-25 - Happy Hardcore style youth clubs the parties were most defintely not. Slightly irrelevant rant over!

"Acid Heaven" Deserves to be much more well known. Love the Phuture style vox on that track too. essential.

Picture this: Spring/Summer 1988, California Sunrise's, Nut Nut's, Ohm's. Sitting in base bins with machines bellowing smoke. Dayglow bras, happy people everywhere and the Old Bill Shop right next door! I remember "Acid Heaven" being played at the 'Car Wash' Lambeth bridge by Mr "Brian G" in summer 88 whilst on one or three. All seemed normal and tunes like these made perfect sense at the time! This tune, R+R's 'Acid Off A Way' and Pilot Jones 'Fall Out Of Love' Proper Acid House for proper Acid Ted's. Aceeeeeed

The B-side is my favourite all time acid house track, mainly because while fully bonafide acid house, it was unlike any other acid house of it's time. While Phuture were the source and masters and set the structure of the scene and mode of music this ignored that set rule and boy does it stay the test of time. I could happily never listen to the A-sides though.

'Acid Heaven' hunt this record down just for this flipside track! It's a beautiful, dreamy piece of hypnotic acid house. Unbelievably underrated and mysterious, could play this strange and lovely record all night. Hunt this one down and roll one!
