An Excellent Album, full of the Orbit-typical Earworm-Sounds! The low rate can only mean that it's not everybodys cup of tea. The only thing I don't like are the two pop songs on it (spiral, they live in the sky), but the rest is awesome and brilliant ambient sounds! People who say Boards Of Canada make great music but who then say this is BS make me puke over! Orbit's Music is far far more in a higher league!

Mr Orbit has been around for a very long time indeed. You only have to look at his catalogue which goes back to 1986 to know he has contributed alot! Anyway, I have always been interested in what Mr O has had to offer and to be fair it has never really been my cup of tea. It just never really hit the mark in the past, but I have to say this album deserves much more than its current score. I'm not sure quite how people have rated this, as if they had heard any other stuff by Mr O, then this relly is right up there. There are a few tunes that are not fantastic but overall i think there is enough original or if not original tuneful to keep most downtempo fans happy. If this is has passed to by to date i think it is worth a listen, 'They live in the sky' is one of my favourites. Don't be put off by the negative ratings to date.
