How limited is the 7"? My copy arrived and has the same barcode and all and is on white vinyl but there is NO bonus 7".

I know the Third Eye Blind store says this is 180 gram but it certainly isn't. probably more like 140-150 gram vinyl.with that said, it sounds fantastic.
Nern
Mmmmm...yes. 155 gram vinyl...ok then....how about the music? Did you weighed the music?
Kulasius
Just weighed this, you're absolutely right, came in at about 155. It does sound great as you mention, incase anyone is worried.

Afraid I disagree with NoWayMeToo, the packaging seems to be a physical representation of where the band is right now. Taking into account their involvement in the occupy movement, their current anti-capitalist and by extension anti-excess sympathies (which are referenced in the album) the stripped back, minimalist packaging seems quite fitting. I think this may in fact be the point.

I see what you're saying, I initially considered that as well. But even if that is the case, I don't like the case. (pun intended) it's just a bad design, any artist aside. The gatefold pic is great, the back cover is Ok, front cover leaves a lot to be desired. But the sleeve... A lot of CDs are being released in digipack/ cardboard format these days, and some sleeves are better than others, this one just sucks. For example, as someone who keeps the CD in the car, the sleeve opening on the outside causes the Cd to always slide out (other designs have the opening inside the gatefold or a plastic cd tray inside the digipack, or just the proper dimensions to have the CD fit snugly so it won't just fall out) and the glossy cover makes it slide all over the place. So, even artwork aside, I just hate this sleeve. But/and if minimalist was the idea, why bother adding a booklet? with nothing but a few pics & tracklist & "see internet site for all the shit you're looking for here" Seems counter-intuitive to the whole anti-capitalist sentiment. I would like to go to a physical store, buy my album in cash, and have all my lyrics/info right there in front of me, without required internet access. THAT'S not anti-capitalist, but I think it is more so, than requiring the infrastructure of corporations to get my liner notes.

1st 3eb album not to include lyrics/credits. There's a note in the booklet directing you to the site for those things. I love Third Eye Blind, but for 6 years between albums they certainly didn't spend any of that time on album art, seems like the whole thing was rushed together as an afterthought. I hope the vinyl version is a bit nicer....
