What a blessing and a curse Internet can be! Without it I would never have stumbled upon Quantic, by hearing him on an internet-radio station with 'Life In The Rain' and consequently downloading his new CD, 'Apricot Morning'. Without it I would also never have had to start the terrible quest for this CD in almost every record-store in Holland (I still don't have it, any suggestions are welcome!) After kicking in with the title track, it remains exciting, sometimes laidback, sometimes uplifting, but always very well crafted. All kinds of jazzy samples, funky beats and what else (Quantic seems to have hired a complete brass section for this CD) make listening to this CD very enjoyable. This man's a genius and he deserves my money, even if I had to get the CD from abroad!
