I've got a copy of the remaster. I'd say the vinyl itself is slightly heavier than average, and the sound quality is good; crisp and sharp, with a little airiness or something about it that makes it sound a bit like an old record in perfect condition... I don't have the original to compare it to - but I am perfectly happy with this version!
