Hmmmmm deliberate lofi mastering pressed to coloured vinyl, whats next? the pressing plant running sandpaper over the record coupled with a couple of deep scratchers to give it that authentic second hand feel. Seriously what is going on today.

me and alot of other people right now love that lofi vibe. gives it a more warm feeling. its the same as with torn jeans, furniture that looks old etc.i guess its more with the younger generation like me, because we never expirienced the old sound with warped cassettes and vinyl crackle so it transports us into that oldschool world that we never had.

Apperently Im one of those old farts that just Dont understand this EP .Maby thats the whole thing about this record :) The old lofi EQ type of thing with an over horny grandma breathing tru the phone .....Dont know if i dig that ,..Its somewhat complicated i guess.

A lot of people have mixed feelings about this record. I like it. It's not amazing, but its solid. The production is crisp and minimal. I don't own it and probably won't buy it in the near future because I am not a working DJ who plays on large system. The magic of this record, especially the title track, I suspect resides in how it sounds on that large system, especially dropped at the right time. I own records such as this that I know devastate in that environment but sound so-so on earphones or at home on the decks. It's about context.

this realease is an intersting example on marketing in nowadays "indepentent" music business. the music on the other hand pretty much mediocre. i guess there is a relation between those points.

This is a fine record. Three out of four songs are rather good, the mastering & pressing were well executed and the price was pretty standard. I don't know what there is to bash about this record. People enjoying it? Shops trying to sell it? Labels making money?

what was with all that 'strictly 1 copy per customer' hype when these hit the market ? jeez you can pretty much buy this in Sainsbury's now. it's actually an okay record, nothing more. 6/10. you'll be able to pick this up for £3 in 12 months time.
