This unreleased album is great! Some of these songs aren't even available for download (I looked hard), or on YouTube. Most are, but it's great to have them on disc and it feels complete this way. On my current setup the treble sounds a touch harsh in some songs, but it's not too bad. Some compromise must be accepted for the chance to hear these special tracks I guess!Notes on songs:Burnin' - Terminator soundtrackPhotoplay - Terminator soundtrackYou can't do that - cleanSurrender - clean Lifeline - LP single, clean recording.Unchained - LP single, clean. Bright treble.Hunter - LP, slight hiss but not bad. Good bass.Camouflage - LP I think, slight hiss, same as above.Stranger - very slight hiss, unsure about source. Clean recording with a good intro! It ain't enough - less mastering was done here, closer to demo quality. 45 LP.Did I ever tell you - moderate hiss, like an older, heavily played LP on quiet parts. Lots of recorded clipping on bass hits. Perhaps recorded from a (crappy) speaker?Cross words - back to quality. Good imaging, not too harsh.One desire (demo) - odd sounds in beginning that literally sounds like the microphone picked up a children's TV show! LOL too bad. I hear it after the song goes quiet, too. The intro is clean. This is a new sound from Tane, slower. Good song! Some glitches...heard a few small gaps sadly. Still good though.Love me to tears - odd volume fluctuations, clean recording but clearly a demo. Not bad.Unmentioned song - uhh, ok! Hollow sound like it's playing on a TV and recorded from that. Can't make out words, but I think I hear the CRT whining. Probably a video demo or something. I can see why this wasn't credited, it's got low listening value at this quality.Overall if you're a fan of Tane and are curious what could have been, it's a great album to snag. I got mine online, and they are continuously available.This album is largely available online for download except for track 2, 3, 11, 12, and if we count it; 15.I'll have to compare the quality later, but I'm still happy to have the CD and those last few tracks not available online. If the issues noted above are void from my downloaded file I'll edit this review.The CD is burned in .cda format.
