Taking cues from the long shadow of the mid '80s, this selection circles original European new wave disco styles and their modern antecedents. We're talking slower, sleazier and darker grooves like Liaisons Dangereuses' 'Aperitif de la Mort' or Lena Platonos' 'Shadows Of Blood beauty, right thru to Lena Willikens with the narcotic deliquescence of 'Nilpferd' or the brooding swagger of INIT's 'Talking About Talking' beauty for Hivern Discs.
