The witches were a brilliant undiscovered goth band fronted by two Polish sisters. I like to think they would of had a lot of success but unfortunately the guitarist Aleksandra Templar died in 1997 she was only 30 and she has been greatly missed by her friends ever since. Sleep well my sweet Alex.

I have no idea where they went or what they are doing now but I remember 'Power is mine' was on a few goth comp tapes and was a rocky punky thing that sounded quite fresh. Just heard that track again after years and Im surprised how good those young kids were.

I saw them live at the Marquee about 12 years ago or so, they were absolutely magnificent. I wonder what happened to them??? Izabella’s voice was so angelic and Alexandra’s guitar so bewitching. I wish I could live through that experience again! A mixture of wild rock, enchanting paganism and dark gothic just to add a bit of chocolate-ness to the mix. Where did “The Witches” go? I would be grateful for any information that anyone has.
