Bradeya
I love this mix! To my ears one of John Digweed's best. It progresses from start to finish though a range of flavours most of which I love No bad moments. None of those, "Why did he have to put that song in an otherwise perfect mix?" moments. This mix stands up to repeated listening, something that can't be said for many other's out there. In fact it grows on you, like an infectuous fungus. Not a typical Digweed mix, whatever that is, much better than typical. Up there with Digweed's "Fabric 20" as even better than expected from a fan.
Insanity
The mix overall, I think, lacks structure. Novels tend to have a beginning, middle, and end. The climax though, would probably have to be McEnroe by Dana Bergquist. I don't know who this is, and I wonder if McEnroe is the tennis player. The album on a whole sounds a little too tribal, percussive, repetitively minimal. This gives it a generic electro house feel, which probably better suits online radio as a bgm for your workplace or just in a club. Anyhow Bergquist seems to be a newcomer with close to no discography, so maybe there is hope in the future.
