for what it is worth, my copy of Paura is perfect, silent, and has a dead center hole. They aren't all messed up, but you are rolling the dice.

I have the same issues, with the centre hole being tight (remedied by twirling a pen knife inside the hole) and the off-centre pressing, which makes the tone arm swing gently back and forth. Side 2 is definitely worse for the wow effect - a see-sawing fluctuation in the pitch, especially noticeable with the sustained notes, of which there are many. But there is a deliberate wooziness in much of the music itself, so it is not always obvious where the arrangement stops and the distortion begins.

When you see releases like these you have to wonder how many companies actually know how to press vinyl anymore. The centring of the hole on this release is so bad that the "wow" causes seasickness.Only an amateur would press something as low quality as this, and only a tone deaf idiot would fail to hear the lousy effect on sound quality. Poor.

I fixed mine by taking a rat tail file to the center hole and expanding it in the right places, so I can center the record more accurately on the platter. It's still not perfect, but the wow is gone. It takes a bit of work, but it's worth it. A great sounding record when it is centered properly.

I wonder when was this vinyl pressing manufacturing and i recommend to the label don´t order any more.My "Paura" copy RSD clear vinyl,have the same issues.Label not centered and it causes moviments to the cartridge.Just looking the vinyl lines you could check than is something wrong.So,yes mainly on B side,the sound is too bad because the "wow".I´m afraid than all the 499 copies have the same "wow" and not centered label or just only the first ones.I asked to the company if they have a right copy,because I have returned mine.

You get an faulty pressing, maybe?! Mine sounds good - not perfect, but by far not like you describe it.

The hole on mine is super tight, but I'm definitely not getting any wow/flutter.
