How can you sell a old skool mp3 or wav file if you buy this track does the label new meal power or the band get any of the £1.29 profit or does it just go into somebody else pocket who know doubt will have found this track in the public domain for free if you know were to look or they might have ripped the vinyl to mp3 on some mp3's you can hear the actual clicks and pops of the old vinyl. Their should be a law against old skool been sold for profit be it mix tapes or mix cd's should i say nowa days as none of us own the copyrights to the songs we play on our mixes old skool should be shared not sold for profit to keep the vibe alive for the younger generation as some of the tunes are over 20 years old and some of the acid house stuff is over 25 years old some of the kids will not even have been born when the tunes were been played the first time round . Yes back in the day when we went to all the raves yes we all bought the dodgy bootleg recording from the raves they were selling of the nights we had been to the week before but that was the only way we could found out the names of the songs the dj's were playing at the time we bought it listen to it then went in to our favorite record shop to see the owner and 99% of the time the shop was owned by a dj and then we payed over the odds to own a copy of said record we were after but that was just the norm back in the day a over priced white label. Their is no real record collecting when you can just type it in the net and find a song on mp3 nowa days its not like digging though all the old dusty record crates in a record shop well thats another point all together their are no real record shops left any more to find a old classic you have been looking for for years or even decades but we have to move with the times and the dj'ing technology or we will just be left by the way side but after all it is old skool so do we dj the old skool way il let you decide!
