He was a fill in guitarist w LR at the time . Sounds like him here and there on the 1964 stuff. ????

Worth a listen for fans of either artist, but not great quality. Hendrix was playing with Little Richard when he first recorded for V-Jay, but I'm not sure if anyone is 100% which artists appeared on each recording. Sounds like he at least maybe on "Whole Lotta Shakin', Money Honey and Keep a Knockin". If you are interested in Little Richard, and not just Hendrix, then you are much better off searching out Volume 1 and 2 of "Little Richard the V-Jay Years" as these feature all of these songs and many more, some of which may have featured Hendrix, who knows?

Reply to above review: Hendrix on at least 9 tracks of the LR vee-jay album of recuts , on I don't know what you've got, dancing all around the world (aka dance a go-go), you'd better stop , and possibly some unreleased instrumentals , from 1965. Possibility of Jimi on first vee-jay album and other sides . Reported he is on Poor Dog , which came out on Okeh Records!

Hendrix w richard on at least 9 of the Vee Jay recuts; on I don't know what you've got (2 versions ); you'd better stop; dancing all around the world ; reportedly Poor Dog and Well for Okeh ; plus unreleased instrumentals from 1965. Maybe 4 more studio.
