A new label for statesiders Telemetrik launches with two fantastic tunes, both sides are some serious tech funk bizness. Nova begins with some euphoric synths and sharp bass kicks before descending into a funky flexing bassline with typically neuro question-and-answer synths. A wacky breakdown section midway through keeps you guessing where the tune will go next. Monochrome is the more dancefloor-oriented tune, with grimey percussion and minimal guitar / piano synths in the intro. A droning bassline ensues before the groove sets in with rolling bongos that funk things up even more. This awesome 12" shouldn't be missed.
