Feist is one of those great wonders in the music industry, like Fiona Apple, who produces such fantastic work but so infrequently. I end up listening to these albums for what seems forever, but they never tire. Because of this I often miss the lead-up to any new projects or releases and find myself playing catch-up (sometimes even years later). So luckily Anthony Fantano, the internet's busiest music nerd (sic), spoke about this track on one of his round-up episodes. Of course I did not wait around to check out the new offering from Feist, and I was not disappointed.What starts as a very slow, somber and quiet track builds up into this driving and thrilling track. This track has some real bite to it, and still carries that familiar Feist aesthetic that every has come to love. I am so eager to hear what the album will sound like, and am always hopeful it won't take another 6 years until the next offering!Fantastic single.
