The Return of King Crimson.
Ever since the news got out about the reformation of King Crimson the barrage of questions has been immense. "Where have they been?"Who are the musicians?" "Why now?" ad infinitum...
It is with this in mind that we present the ever ready Robert Fripp, communicator extraordinaire ( and the King Crimsoid himself) to discuss these and other questions.
Conducted by Vic Garbarini of Musician Player and Listener magazine, this interview took place at Blue Rock Studios in New York in late September. The topics include Fripp's work with David Bowie, Brian Eno, Blondie and the Roches; the future of King Crimson; the concept of Discipline itself as well as a discussion of how the English make their tea.
All in all, this is one of the most enjoyable 56 minutes you're likely to hear anywhere.

Part of the "Warner Bros. Music Show" series.
In the early 1980's these were mailed to radio stations as promos to be aired only once as a radio show. Pressings were probably a run of a few hundred copies and may have been included as part of the Rockpool service that sent to 250 college stations.
