Deep and dub. That's what Dublee's ECHO EUPHORIA is like. The opener, "Fog," sets the pace: a brisk stroll through reflecting textures, while the beat on "The Sun Sets" is slightly clickier and the synth more smooth and Detroitan. "Groping" and "Body Talk" remind me somewhat of Kaito's smooth, melodic trance, and "Filtered Scene" has crisp cuts to keep the mood staccato. "Eupholia" is bright and funky, while "Eleven" does in deep and stays there, and the beatless "Galaxy" simply suspends itself in outer space, quasars blinking off in the distance. But "Yume" thunders back to earth before rocketing into an echoing chamber of ambience. Euphoric indeed!
