The A side of this record is so good that I never even noticed that there are two other tracks on the B side. B1 sounds like it is its own track while B2 sounds like a mix of the A side with less drums. Either way, neither of the tracks are nearly as good as the A side. That track is the reason I purchased the record after I heard it in multiple DJ T-1000 DJ sets and his Live Sabotage mix CD. So what does the A side sound like? Unfiltered and unadulterated drum madness! No synths, baseline generators, or effects here. I don't know how many drum machines the Samoan Stomper used on this one but it has to be 4 or 5 as it seems each drum sound is on a completely different time signature. The results are sonically pleasing, unlike many tribal techno songs from 1997-2001. Len Faki just released (2012) his own RX Tribe remix as an MP3 and the parts from the original are unrecognizable to me. The song is unimaginative and dull. It is ruined with the addition of everything that is missing from the Hyperactive original and the drums are way less stimulating. Your best bet is to just go with the original version.

A true classic, from a time when techno was much more than a filtered loop and compressed drums. Percussive mayhem from an artist responsible for some of my favourite tracks.
