Can anybody tell how many copies exist and how the sound quality and the quality of the release is in general? Thanks.
Hrguig
So, I received my copy from Juno and could compare it today with my TFOE copy (2016 1st press). First, the stampers used are different. Second, the sound on the 2017 copy is clearer. But not as bright as on the MRT sampler, as Shodan stated. Somehow the TFOE sound seems even more powerful but I'm used to it so maybe I'm biased, anyway now I don't know which copy I prefer!Anyway, these come in poly lined sleeve put in a PCS sleeve with a paper sheet. Labels are absolutely blank.
Painbrand
If anyone has a recording of the first track from the 2016 release, I can compare with the 2017 one.

the Lux Rec 12" sounds brighter, more detailed in the high end, but I think they tweaked the EQ to achieve that. this one is probably more faithful to the original tape. quality pressing too... I don't hear any undesirable noise besides tape hiss.
Paster
my record sounds loud, would say quality is not bad at all, having in mind its from a mono cassette..
Conjuril
I ordered a copy. I will report back when I receive it.
Runemane
cautiously optimistic after hearing the audio clips on juno. I don't think this is a reissue of the 2016 bootleg. this one was done somewhere in Europe.
Umsida
Can't believe some lucky cunt bought this on here for 16 quid!

Rips so fuckin hard! We need some tape and vinyl reissues STAT

Even though unofficial I'm happy this thing exists, as this insane music deserves to be more widely heard. But it must be said the sound quality is very lo-fi and muffled (even considering the source material). If you compare "No Compassion" on this pressing with the Lux Rec/MRT 12" from last year, the overall dynamic range is noticeably less here.
Kahavor
Word - it is a total banger and sounds perfect to me.

endofanear With some adjustment of bass and treble it sounds quite good, though I have not heard the MRT 12". Is that one pressed at 45? Hi, I just listened to both pressings again through headphones in case I was hasty with my initial comment (the MRT 12" is at 33rpm as well btw).In all honesty it's a big difference in favour of the MRT pressing, though it's possible the sound on this 2x12" is closer to that of the original tape.
Nalme
sounds good to me... i have jammed it loud as hell and had a blast... heheh

Now that it's been rediscovered, this incredible tape needs a full vinyl release as soon as possible. Shit is insane.Best cuts? A1, A3 and especially B2 are belters.
Phobism
