For some people, as 2004 progressed, "Yeah!" was not the highlight of Usher's breakthrough CD. It was "Confessions (Part 2)", which had the most personal lyrics that he'd ever recorded and co-written. Many wondered aloud if this was based on his real-life escapades. Regardless, with a pretty understated Dupri production and a powerful Chris Robinson-directed video accompanying this, it's no wonder that '04 was Usher's year. This 12" features the remix with guests raps from Kanye, Twista, and Shyne, and his latest hit (as of Nov. '04), "My Boo", a radio smash straight outta the box with help from Alicia Keys. Modern-day R&B afficionados, this one is a no-brainer.
