Funny about mixing the numbering sequence for this No Plans vinyl EP. Some fans here are stating their numbers, to figure out how many were produced, but also as a 'perceived value' regarding low numbers. It's like a last-minute Bowie joke on 'collectibility'. . .Traditionally, the reason why having a low number is GOOD, is because the lower numbers being the first produced, it's generally thought the lower numbered products are more accurately produced. [This is not always the case, because the very first can have problems as machines warm up / get into the rhythm. Often the first few are thrown away as tests, but sometimes some duff ones can sneak by. Also, modern machinery is a lot more consistent.] But, as a general rule, lower numbers are better and the idea of lower numbers being more valuable has stuck.Mixing up the numbers totally subverts the reasoning behind low numbers having more value - if the numbers are MIXED UP, they clearly don't reflect the order of production - in this case the low number doesn't hold any extra value. The important aspect remaining about the numbering is ensuring each is part of a limited run.

I got numbers 6514 & 6515! Can't wait to crack one of these open and spin it!
Mash
My copy is № 132. And at least ten more words...
Perilanim
Nice SQ, which is a relief and I like the package, but it was horrendously expensive! In years to though I'm sure I'll be pleased to own it even if just for sentimental reasons.#2694
Clever
Number 2397 here. Be careful opening the sticker on the white sleeve containing the lithograph, I had to slice through mine as the sticker was lifting the sleeve away when I attempted to peel it off.
Erthai
I got no 247 - think that's just fine :)
Uylo
got no. 6080..... need 7 more words here to post
elektron
my copy is 6082 :) more words needed as well
Kelenn
My copy is No 0276. I have no complaints! :)

This was sold as a Die Cut White Vinyl disc. In the event it's a 12" white vinyl in a die cut sleeve. Nothing special and at £36.99, extraordinarily expensive. The 'lithograph' is dire. Poorly printed. Wrapping a bit of tissue paper round something doesn't make it special. Another prime example of the Estate/ Sony cashing in and ripping off the Bowie fan. Disappointing.
The Apotheoses of Lacspor
The catalogue number on my copy (spine) ends in 071 not 717 as stated above (typo?). My number is 2718.
Vrion
on barcode is the last 7.... 0717Could that be it?
Wal
This version is different than the RSD release. This one is white vinyl, and the RSD release is blue and does not include the lithograph as an option. I got both versions, and this one was only available through the official bowie web site.Update: catalog number on spine ends in 071 but barcode on back ends in 717; my copy is number 3429, and very satisfied with my purchase.
VAZGINO
i got number 4110 and it keeps spinning in the very last runout groove :)thanks for all the magic you gave us david..
Ttyr
Is this not the same as the RSD release ?
Umi
It is not the same as the Record Store Day release.
MEGA FREEDY
This was a pre-order, single run edition, through Bowie's website - pure white single sided etched vinyl with additional lithograph print.
Maveri
This is not the same as the RSD release. This is in white vinyl and comes with a lithograph. The RSD releases were in clear and black vinyl.
Freaky Hook
So.. how many copies are out there? Who got what number?
Darkraven
Yep - Have got No.s 7359 & 7362 calling in here.
Shaktizragore
6802. Everything was ok with the record, no issues with the blank label. My guess is approx. 8000 copies.
Nilarius
I just received mine and it is ltd edition number 1594.
Ballagar
