After sitting on the shelf for one or more likely two decades I listened today once again to this untypical Stevie Wonder album. And I have to say: What a shame it sat there for so long unnoticed.Having heard a lot of Ambient and World music over the years I noticed that Stevie has used many components of these on this album … in 1979 (!) – combined with his very own style and voice.A beautiful piece of music – courageous for the time of creation – which I won't neglect in future as I have done for so long.Being one of the first digitally recorded popular music albums in combination with top notch mixing and mastering it is also in means of sound exceptional. Well, too much sweetness for many, I admit, not something for the ones looking for another Stevie Wonder hit – nevertheless worth a listen or even more …
