The music on this set is a great collection of early material taken mostly from 78rpm singles. Unfortunately there's a couple minutes of dialog between every single song. It's interesting about one time and then you wish it wasn't there.

If you even vaguely like Tex Ritter or Country-Western music you really should hear this special edition box set. Each song is introduced by Tex and often with some anecdote about how he came to record it. The penultimate track "Just Beyond The Moon" is one of the unrecognized masterpieces.
