Although Scotland is a small country but with about five million inhabitants there is a large number of Nice bands. One of them is Mull Historical Society, which debuted in 2001 with the album Loss. The cd was well received by both critics and audiences and sold more than 70,000 copies in Britain. M.H.S. is really only Colin MacIntyre, submitted by the largely populated by sheep Island of Mull. MacIntyre writes and produces everything itself and also plays most of the instruments. The songs are, however, just like on the predecessor often arranged so rich that he regularly need the help of guest musicians, including on cello, flute and harp. This is Us a very attractive album with very many beautiful songs, such as Asylum, Minister For genetics & Insurance M.P. and Don't Take Your Love Away From Me. Mull Historical Society proves with Us that ' the difficult-second-plates syndrome ' does not apply to everyone.
