Everyone tends to associate Void with the big hit orcana [especially the seductive mix] which was hammered by house jocks up and down the UK in the early 90s [most notably dj welly] and goes for a fair £££ on here and ebay. However, for me the real gem in this release has to be destiny, its an 11 minute journey of epic proportions. Featured on Dj Vertigo's "Hippy Pigs" mix the track is just an epic piece of music, starting with a synth layer which slowly coaxes the piano bassline in culminating in a breakbeat/saxophone fusion make this a real crowd pleaser. In a nutshell, old skool house/ breakbeat at its pulsating best, must have for Dj vertigo fans!

It's a proper pill tune that never failed to make any club I've heard it played in, explode. It's definitely one of the stand out tracks from 92 which for me was the peak for clubbing/raving in the UK before the cynical marketers got involved and you started reading articles in Mixmag with people saying they're "Thatcher's children" - I didn't know Acid House was about fascism, monopolies and plutocratic capitalism. I thought it was about something else completely different.
