Every now and then there comes a track that blows your mind. The kind that you don't even remember how many times you put it on repeat all day, and you yearn for it first thing the next morning. Presenting "Lazy Jane." Where every element is in perfect order. From the very first horn-like sound that kicks off the track, to the echoed rimshot, funky bass line that defines dub, and best of all, the ultimate signature; the soothing vocoder lyric that chants but a few words about Lazy Jane. This track's dubby vibes conjure up feelings that are best described as "dope" or "chill". This is the most addicting track I've discovered since Rhythm & Sound's "See Mi Yah" back in 2005. Hats off to Scott Monteith & Danuel Tate for completely outdoing themselves with this perfect colaboration. On the flip is a departure in tone, yet a clubby dub track in its own right. The "909 Dub" is a Marizio-esque groove that would please any Basic Channel fan. Easy to get lost in as well. Talk about getting a bang for your buck. This 12" will go down in dub techno history as one of the greats.
