Notes
Track A1 is misspelled on the label (not Clarf) and on the rear sleeve (not Claire).
Notes from rear sleeve:
Frente! - Clare: An acoustic recording by Simon and Angie of a Fairground Attraction song. Not available anywhere else, this song makes a regular appearance in the Frente! live set. Recorded live in Triple J Studio 266, 17/1/92 for their acoustic sessions. Engineered by Chris Norris and produced by Terri Robert.
Pale Saints - Featherframe: Taken from their new album In Ribbons and produced by Hugh Jones, this song highlights the Leeds based band's unique and diverse approach to rock. From their first 4AD release onwards, the Pale Saints have always hinted that there is hope for the 'UK Rock Band' yet!
Juliana Hatfield - Nirvana: A Blake Baby goes solo. This song originally appeared as an acoustic version on the Babies' Rosy Jack World EP. It gets fleshed out here with the help of members of The Lemonheads, Bullet LaVolta and producer Gary Smith, and is found on Juliana's album Hey Babe, which is the first release resulting from the newly inked deal between White Records and US label Mammoth Records.
JPS Experience - What's Going On: Immortal cover of a Flying Nun Fetus Productions classic. Recorded and mixed by Roger Rutherford and Roger Nevison at Incubator Studios in Auckland in a mere 3 hours the night before the now legendary Flying Nun 10th Anniversary Party in September 1991. Only appearance was on a one-off run of 500 cassettes aptly titled Roger Sings The Hits.
