Asad Rizvi ANNIHILATED the remix. To listen to this on mp3 should be a crime, to listen to this on a home stereo on vinyl is merely ok, but to hear it LOUD on a huge venue with an amazing sound system! You think you went to club heaven. THE progressive tribal tech-house track of it's release year. I remember Hernan Cattaneo playing the shit out of this track in his sets, and it was made more famous when a set of his at Moonpark in Buenos Aires got recorded and passed around the webs.

Asad's remix is very good except for the one bit of overproduction midway through. I don't much care for backspins that are part of the record. This one sounds like a really difficult trick, giving too much credit to the DJ. I feel bad playing it sometimes.

Asad's "Silverlining Smooch" remix gets my vote for tribal tech-house release of the year (2002). A friggin' killer.
