It's very Disney in it's arrangement. It's got a lot of ol' timey songs in the manner of Mary Poppins and a descriptive narrator in-between. But I'd have to say it's all worth it for the summer track (Summer Thunder). It's one note short of a minstrel show with the unforgettable "Cotton Needs-a-Pickin'" song. Just pray that your kids don't get caught singing that one in public... Over-all, it's actually a pretty interesting and imaginative album, but you have to remember that it's from 1963, so it was designed for a very different generation.
