As a follow up to their LP "Cold." this album shows appreciable growth musically. With less focus on straight new wave principles, you hear experimental percussion, lush fillers, and are left feeling, well, warmer. You can definitely tell that the band has better mastered the english language through touring, and their lyrics have matured accordingly. The tracks are delightfully cohesive, with no one offering standing out from the others. While not a challenging record, it is certainly unobtrusive and, thankfully, just interesting enough. This is faster paced than "Cold." but lacks its haunting depth.
