'Watch Your Step' puts you in a melodic trance, its a masterful lesson in house music & an all time fave... The chopped female vox makes no sense, although you wouldn't even notice until the solo'd out last few bars. Does 'Come Home' sample the vox from Crystal Waters 'Gypsy Woman'? Either way, how Pharoah plays with the mechanical replay of ingredients & rearranging sounds is just brilliant. Simple, chugging grooves with so little, yet so much, going on. Title track 'My Body Is Strong' treads a more direct route, yet is still as deep as D-Trumps pockets, with jazz keys underpinning all to create a 70's flavoured snappy deep house gem. Groovy b*stard.
