Pretty sure the sample "Please you have to trust me" is from the The Abyss can anyone confirm that?? 1 hour 14 minutes and about 50 seconds into the movie......

TRUST ME . . . . . . . !!!

I always thought the tunes Bukem played back in 93-94 were by lots of people. I'm learning that he played pretty much only Good Looking stuff, Photek, Source Direct and the odd Metalheadz... that's it!
Framokay
Played a lot of dj crystal bits from deejay recs, played a lot of legend bits and so on lots of unreleased bits , dj dove, roger Johnson,..
Maveri
Think you will find he played a lot more wax from various other artists and labels than just the 4 you mentioned.
Djang
Fancy that, i'd never have guessed that a DJ would have played music produced by different Artists, i'm still in shock at this, would it be an understatement to call it a revelation!!!
Truthcliff
He also played Skanna, Wax Doctor, Fallen Angels, and lots of different artists!

Trust me

It is a real shame the mastering on this makes it sound like it was recorded in the lost city of Atlantis, the same can also be said for Code of Practice - Infiltrate/Can We Change The Future.

Not sure what thelaw84 is talking about,Release the Bells is the highlight on here,no question..Quite simply a monster tune that Bukem used to have on permanent rotation..This is indeed Source Directs first release closely followed by Future London/Shimmer on Odysee..People on Discogs tend to bang on alot about what they did in 95/96,but for me Release The Bells and Shimmer have the best intro/opening they ever produced on any of their vinyl..On a side note,Trust Me and Don't Resist The Beat are excellent compliments to this mini EP.

All wicked tunes. Trust Me is one of the first Source Direct tunes I heard though. Had a thing for that track for years!

Release the Bells is the real beauty here foking right!!!!!!!!!!!

For me Release the Bells is the real beauty here, I remember very well from Bukem sets in early 94 (Dreamscape 9 I think) this was rolled, really haunting at times. But they are ALL WICKED!

As far as im aware this was Source Direct's first ever release, and what an intro. All 3 tunes are finely cut amen numbers with a meloncholy vibe, female vocals and sub bass. Trust Me probably being the highlight followed by Dont Resist The Beat. Typical of their style. However it is lacking the clarity of their later releases, production values (with a certain Photek's help) went up a lot inside a year. Still take nothing away from 3 beautiful tracks, recommended.
