Compared to their masterpiece "Standing On The Sun" this is just average: it lacks remarkable songs. The potential is there but it leaves something to be desired. I want to be blown away by these good musicians. "Standing On The Sun" was earthy, their new "unearthed" style on this here and later on "Matricide" (another disappointment) I don't really dig. Carmichael/Heinzmann, however, should return to glory in co-operation with Liebling/Smail on Pentagram's fantastic, yet underrated '04 album: show 'em how.Best track on "Unearthed": Chapter 9.
