'Gems For Jem - We're On The Move' is a nice early 90s garage sounding track which could be used in a good effect since there's a current revival of this kind of house music sounds. But this can't be said for the rest of this EP: it's quickly put together in a studio by sound engineers wishing to cash in some quick buck on the house music craze which was going on at those times. It's sounding so campy and goofy, almost like a parody of the genre. Totally off sounding basslines, cheesy sounding synthesizers with simple preset sounds and samples, weird sound effects and really uninspiring house beats. I would nominate this as the worst house record ever created, but 'We're On The Move' barely saves this from this title. I really wonder if we could push this EP to being something infamous like the legendary 'so bad it's good' B-movies of Ed Wood for example. Try playing 'Toots And Roots - Hello' to get some strange looks and reactions from the crowd for example! But in the end, even the worst house tracks of the 90s sound better than the current EDM trends...
