This record is in a weird spot between supply and demand. The demand comes from the few but dedicated. I'm a huge RSH fan and own 2 copies of this record; 1 is unopened. That is how much this record means to me. I brought it at retail price. I would never sell them.

Does anyone know exactly how many copies of the black and clear vinyls were pressed in 2001? I've heard numbers from 100-300-500.

I've heard there were roughly 300-400 copies pressed in 2001. 500 were re-pressed in 2011. Sadly I still don't own one, over $1300 for the origonal pressing, whoa! I wish. They really should have presses more in 2011. Knowing this type of album and the Melbourne scene, all of those 500 have probably never made it out of Fitzroy! I hope I'll have me hands on one soon... I'm pretty sure the original pressing was only black and the clear was pressed a few years later. This is what I've heard, plus, I bought my copy when it came out in 2001 and there was no mention of colored vinyl. IIRC, i pre-ordered it, so I definitely got an early copy, which makes me 99% certain that the first pressing was on black.

Note: The 2011 reissue comes in a single LP sleeve whereas the 2001 pressing was a gatefold sleeve. Also the 2001 issue states "Rowland S. Howard" rather than "Rowland S. Howard's"...Teenage Snuff Film.
