Inth
A very curious release of trance. The first two tracks sit in mid-tempo between 105-110 bpm, which is hardly the typical trance tempo no matter what year you choose.Nonetheless, they are very classy."The Beginning" is a melodic track that, due to the aforementioned slow tempo, sounds like a New Beat track. The difference being that on top of the slow rhythm every typical 1993-94 era trance sound is used. I can best describe it as sounding like a Visions Of Shiva track played at 33rpm.Bizarrely, the second track "Cosmic Esmeralda" is pretty much identical to track one apart from a smaller intro and ever-so-slightly faster tempo. However the third and final track, "Trancemeralda" really breaks free. Running at around 140 bpm the similarities with The Visions Of Shiva are made much more clear. This will be the mix that you will focus on when the novelty of the first two tracks has faded. The melody is finally allowed to breathe, and I for one cannot help but be reminded of the more famous half of The Visions Of Shiva, the legendary Paul van Dyk. This mix really reminds me of his output around the mid-90's and indeed you could be fooled for thinking this was one of his own creations.A lovely release that I stumbled upon by accident, but I certainly shall not forget.
